Garth Carlyle Gordon
Arriving from St. Thomas, Jamaica to Poughkeepsie, N.Y. in 1986, Garth attended Poughkeepsie High, then later achieved his B.S. degree in Management at Manhattan College in Riverdale, N.Y. He is employed as an Account Manager at Millhouse Security Services in Atlanta, Ga. He is the founder of Concerns Citizens of St. Thomas (2020-Present), a charity organization based in Atlanta Ga. HIs entrepreneurial skills has spurred various businesses throughout the years like B & G Beauty Supply (first black-owned beauty supply store in Douglasville 2007-2010), Adonai Sound (Reggae DeeJaying sound-system 1994-Present), Gees-Tshirts (t-shirt screen and vinyl printing 2019-Present), NRG Hair Salon with his wife Nadia (2018-Present). His most recent venture, Geremiah’s Lemonade, is inspired by youngest children Geremiah and Emi (2019-Present). Garth’s continuous care for family and community is evident in his pursuit to make everyone and everything around him better.
