Blinds & Designs has been named the winner of the Best Window Treatments in Franklin 2026 award by American Recognition Awards. The recognition honors the company's more than 40 years of service to Middle Tennessee and its standing as a third-generation family-owned business.
Founded by Kimberly Dickson's grandfather more than four decades ago, Blinds & Designs began as a window treatment provider and has since grown into a full-service design resource. The company now offers custom shutters, blinds, shades, drapery, motorization, and exterior shading, serving homeowners, interior designers, builders, real estate professionals, and commercial clients. Projects range from a single room to an entire home, including new construction, renovations, and existing homes.
"For me, Blinds & Designs is about so much more than window treatments. My grandfather started this business more than 40 years ago, and I'm incredibly proud to be the third generation carrying it forward. I've had customers tell me, 'Your grandfather did the blinds in my first home, your uncle did my second, and now you're doing my third.' That means everything to me. We've grown and changed a lot over the years, but the way we take care of people hasn't changed. I want every customer to know that when they choose us, they're working with a local family that truly cares about their home and will still be here long after the installation is finished."
